RULES TO BE A PRETTY GIRL / BOY / OTHER
this is an updated version of my first post
⚠️ I don’t encourage anyone to follow any of these rules. I created these rules for myself to have some order in my life. If you do choose to follow the rules, don’t hurt yourself to follow them and please please stay safe. ⚠️
habits i want to develop
you may see these throughout the entire list
- only touch your face after you’ve washed your hands
- have an organized daily and nightly skin care routine
- lay your clothes out the night before
- measuring day is every month on the 9th
- picture tracking day is every month on the 12th

- work out daily
- fidget more
- try to hit close to 10,000 steps every day
- don’t go over your calorie limits
- fast at least once a week
- no more binging
- don’t give in to your cravings
- only choose water at restaurants
- never finish the entire portion
- never eat after 7 pm and before 7 am
- drink at least 2 liters of water every day
- drink tons of green tea
- get 8+ hours of sleep every night
- go to sleep at 8 pm and wake up at 6 am
- manage your time better
- always study for tests and quizzes
- always do your school assignments the day they’re assigned

- never talk about or mention your mental illnesses ever (unless you’re going to get help, please seek help)
- be kind to everyone
- don’t change your opinions and idea’s to fit others’ opinions and ideas (be your own person and don’t be shy to disagree with your schoolmates, teachers, friends, coworkers, etc.)
- complement at least three people daily
- always try to make new friends
appearance & hygiene
- wash your hair every two to three days on school days, every four days on long period holiday breaks
- use a hair mask once a week (you can look up homemade masks online that suit your type of hair)
- keep your hair tamed and in order at all times, same goes for your eyebrows
- brush your teeth twice a day on school days, after every meal on the weekends and breaks
- always floss
- keep your finger nails clean and healthy, same goes for your toe nails
- wash your hands as much as possible
- apply cream after washing your hands
- shave every three to four days
- shower day and night
- apply cream to your skin after every shower, two or more times throughout the rest of the day
- deodorant, perfume, and gum/mints is always a must
- always put effort into your clothes
- never wear dirty clothes
skincare
- keep an organized daily skin care routine and don’t break the chain
- wash your face twice a day
- always apply facial moisturizer after washing your face
- massage your face after moisturizer always, [skip to 5:37] (use your ring finger, middle finger and index finger to massage)
- always apply sunscreen in the mornings (if you’re going out)
- take two days out of the week to use facial masks to keep your skin healthy (you can also look up homemade masks online, dont overuse store-bought masks, it can lead to dry, damaged and irritated skin)
- exfoliate twice a week (i use ½ tbsp of sugar and 1/8 tsp of milk)
- treat acne the second its spotted (i use tea tree oil, not the kind for your hair)
- don’t use heavy makeup that can clog your pores
- minimize makeup use (foundation, concealer, blush, bronzer and highlight)
- always wash your makeup off your face before going to bed
weight management / exercise
- work out every day (unless you’re sick, fasting or injured)
- burn at least 3,000 calories a day (this includes your bmr)
- never miss out on or skip a workout
- always do a morning workout, before shower workout and nighttime workout
- fidget as much as possible (it burns about 300 to 500 calories a day)
- walk at least 1.5 miles a day
- try to hit that 10,000 steps a day requirement
- have a diverse workout routine (include cardio exercises, stretches, etc.)
- have a routine that focuses on every part of your body, not just your stomach and legs
- make sure you’re doing the exercise right, doing it wrong or half-assing it can lead to muscle/joint damage and future discomfort)
- measuring day is every month on the 9th
- picture tracking day is every month on the 12th
- weigh in is every tuesday before eating
food
- never forget to count your calories
- never eat over 800 calories on weekends, over 500 on weekdays
- no greasy foods, junk foods and sweets
- no binging
- don’t give in to your cravings
- if the calories are unknown in a food, don’t eat it
- only eat around others so they don’t become suspicious
- only drink water at restaurants
- never finish your entire portions, leave some food on the plate or pack it up for later
- put down your cutlery between every bite
- have a sip of water every three bites
- never eat after 7 pm or before 7 am
- drink at least 2 liters of water daily
- drink at least two cups of green tea daily
- fast at least once a week
- learn to cook for yourself so you know exactly what’s going into your body
- eat more vegetables and fruits and healthy foods in general
on your period
- wash your face more (if you often break out a lot during this time)
- always shower no matter what (hygiene is especially important during this time)
- do light workouts that don’t affect your cramps
- walk instead of running
- allow yourself a “free food” every other day during your period (a free food is a food whos calories you don’t count/whos calories you ignore, for me it’s a whole mango)
- no dairy
- eat light foods that don’t affect your cramps
- try to not just lay in your bed doing nothing
- don’t weigh yourself at all
- drink peppermint tea, or peppermint infused green tea, this calms down bloating
- don’t focus too much on bloating (you haven’t gained weight don’t worry)
- try not to fast for too long, or not at all
- don’t give into any of your cravings
- don’t binge
at school
- go to sleep at least at 10 pm, 8 pm is best
- wake up at least at 8 am, 6 am is best
- get at least 7 hours of sleep
- always do your homework and projects the day they’re assigned
- lowest grade on your report card is a B-
- always study for tests
- keep your notes, books and papers organized
- never miss an assignment
- always do any given extra credit
- lay out your outfit the night before
- take the stair always, not the elevator (unless you have an injury) [my school is in an office building so we have 6 floors and 10 flights of stairs to take]
- never skip that p.e/gym class (i have pilates and yoga)
- walk around campus as much as you can
- walk home at least once a week, take the long way
- be kind to everyone
- don’t change your opinions and idea’s to fit others’ opinions and ideas (be your own person and don’t be shy to disagree with your schoolmates, teachers and friends)
- complement at least three people daily
- always try to make new friends
- always participate in class
- never complain about anything at all, make it seem that you have no problems and are content with the way that everything is
- be generous and always offer some of your lunch with your friends
- always give away or throw away foods that don’t fit your calorie limit
- if it is absolutely 100000% necessary, only purge when nobody is around, if anyone hears you say that you have food poisoning (if you don’t already purge, please don’t start)
